The Stephill SG6000D is a compact 4.8kW super-silent diesel generator designed for construction, hire, commercial, agricultural and standby-power applications. Powered by a Stage V Yanmar L100V engine, it features electric starting, dual 230V/115V output, an industrial two-wheel trolley and up to 17 hours of runtime at 75% load.

The Stephill SG6000D 4.8kW Super Silent Diesel Generator is the latest model in Stephill’s Super Economy silenced diesel-generator range.

Combining competitive pricing with Stephill’s established British build quality, the SG6000D provides dependable portable power for construction, hire, commercial, agricultural and standby applications.

It delivers a continuous and maximum output of 6.0kVA / 4.8kW, with a practical selection of 230V and 115V industrial sockets.

Stage V Yanmar Diesel Engine

The SG6000D is powered by a dependable Yanmar L100V air-cooled diesel engine.

This professional engine offers efficient fuel consumption, reliable electric starting and straightforward maintenance. Its Stage V emissions classification makes it suitable for modern commercial and construction applications where reduced exhaust emissions are required.

The engine incorporates automatic shutdown protection for:

• Low oil pressure
• High engine temperature
• Low fuel level

Dual 230V and 115V Output

The generator is equipped with the following industrial sockets:

• 1 × 230V 16A
• 1 × 230V 32A
• 2 × 115V 16A
• 1 × 115V 32A

An AC voltage-selector switch allows the operator to select the required 230V or 115V output.

Each socket is protected by an MCB against overload, while the 230V supply is fitted with RCD earth-leakage protection.

Important Dual-Voltage Output Information

When operating at 115V, a dual-voltage generator may only provide approximately 50–60% of its full rated output.

The power available through each socket is also limited by its voltage and current rating. Connected loads must remain within both the generator’s available output and the rating of the individual socket.

Super-Silent Acoustic Canopy

The SG6000D is housed within a newly designed acoustic cabinet that reduces operating noise and protects the engine and alternator.

With a stated noise level of approximately 68dB(A) at 7m, it offers quieter operation than the previous Stephill SE6000D4 model.

The canopy roof is supported by gas struts, allowing it to be raised easily for routine servicing, inspection and maintenance.

NSM Brushless Alternator

The Yanmar engine is close-coupled to a heavy-duty NSM brushless alternator.

Its maintenance-free design produces a smooth electrical waveform suitable for compatible tools, lighting and general site equipment.

Automatic Voltage Regulation is not fitted to this model.

Electric Starting

The generator features a convenient electric-starting system, making operation quick and straightforward.

An integrated hours-run meter allows the operator to monitor usage and schedule servicing at the appropriate intervals.

Industrial Two-Wheel Trolley

An industrial two-wheel trolley kit is supplied as standard.

The large wheels, sturdy frame and integrated lifting eye make the generator easier to move around construction sites, workshops, farms and storage areas.

Long-Running Fuel Tank

The integrated 24-litre diesel tank provides up to approximately 17 hours of runtime at 75% load.

Actual runtime will vary according to the connected load, operating conditions and maintenance of the generator.
