The Pramac GDW455I/FS2 is a professional industrial diesel generating set engineered for applications where dependable high-capacity three-phase power is essential.

At the heart of the generator is the FPT C13TE3A, a 12.9-litre six-cylinder turbocharged and aftercooled diesel engine operating at 1500rpm. The engine features electronic speed governing, water cooling and a 24V electric starting system.

The generator provides 455.5kVA / 364.4kW Emergency Standby Power and 414.4kVA / 331.5kW Prime Power, making it suitable for both emergency backup installations and extended operation under variable electrical loads.

FPT Industrial Diesel Engine

Mecc Alte Alternator

Electrical generation is handled by the Mecc Alte ECO40 2S4 C brushless alternator.

The alternator provides a 491kVA standby rating at 27°C and a 450kVA continuous nominal rating at 40°C.

It offers approximately 94.4% efficiency at full load, Class H insulation, IP23 protection and approximately ±0.5% voltage tolerance.

Fuel Consumption & Runtime

Fuel consumption is approximately:

66.05 litres per hour at 75% Prime Power

85.87 litres per hour at 100% Prime Power

A wide range of optional fuel tanks is available, with capacities from 500 litres up to 4,500 litres.

Depending on the selected tank, approximate runtime at 75% PRP ranges from 7.57 hours to 68.13 hours.

Automatic Mains Failure Control

The optional ACP Automatic Control Panel provides Auto Mains Failure functionality for standby installations.

The system offers full generator monitoring and protection, detailed event and performance logging, remote control compatibility and optional I/O expansion.

Parallel Generator Operation

For larger installations, the optional MPP Modular Parallel Panel enables the GDW455I/FS2 to operate in parallel with other generating sets.

Up to 32 generator sets can be configured for parallel operation, making this model suitable for larger industrial power systems, load sharing and redundancy applications.

Open, Canopy & Extra Silent Versions

The GDW455I/FS2 is available in open-frame, weatherproof canopy and Extra Silent canopy configurations.

The canopy version uses galvanized sheet-steel construction and quality acoustic insulation to protect the generator from demanding environmental conditions while reducing operating noise.

The standard canopy provides approximately:

• 98 dB(A) guaranteed sound power
• 78 dB(A) sound pressure at 1 metre
• 68 dB(A) sound pressure at 7 metres

The Extra Silent version reduces noise further to approximately:

• 95 dB(A) guaranteed sound power
• 75 dB(A) sound pressure at 1 metre
• 65 dB(A) sound pressure at 7 metres
