The Pramac GDW220P/FNE is a heavy-duty three-phase diesel generator designed to provide dependable power for commercial, industrial and critical standby applications. Producing 176kW (220kVA) emergency standby power and 160kW (200kVA) prime power, it offers the performance required for factories, warehouses, construction projects, agricultural facilities, data infrastructure and emergency backup systems.

At the heart of the generator is the proven Perkins 1106A-70TAG4 diesel engine. This robust 7.01-litre, six-cylinder engine features turbocharged aspiration, electronic speed governing and water cooling. Operating at 1,500rpm, it delivers consistent performance under demanding variable-load conditions.

The engine is paired with a premium Leroy Somer LSA 44.3 VL14 brushless alternator. Featuring Class H insulation, IP23 protection and a voltage tolerance of just ±0.5%, the alternator provides stable and dependable three-phase electrical output for sensitive equipment and demanding industrial loads.

The generator supplies 400/230V three-phase power at 50Hz, with a 0.8 power factor. Its electrical system provides a nominal current of 289A, a maximum current of 318A and a 400A circuit breaker.

Fuel consumption is approximately 35.84 litres per hour at 75% prime load and 46.41 litres per hour at 100% prime load. A range of optional fuel tanks is available, providing capacities from 350 to 2,200 litres and allowing the generator’s operating autonomy to be tailored to the installation.

Available in open, soundproof canopy and extra-silent canopy configurations, the GDW220P/FNE can be specified for different operating environments. The standard soundproof canopy produces a noise pressure level of 68dB(A) at seven metres, while the extra-silent version reduces this to 64dB(A) at seven metres.

Automatic and modular parallel control-panel options are available. These provide features such as Automatic Mains Failure operation, generator monitoring, electrical protection, detailed event logging and parallel operation with multiple generating sets.

Manufactured in accordance with applicable ISO 8528 requirements, the GDW220P/FNE offers a professional power solution for organisations requiring reliable prime or emergency standby electricity.
