The Pramac GDW170B/FNE Three-Phase Diesel Generator is engineered to provide reliable power for demanding commercial, industrial and standby applications. It is suitable for factories, warehouses, construction projects, agricultural operations, commercial premises and emergency backup installations.

The GDW170B/FNE delivers 172kVA / 137.6kW of Emergency Standby Power (ESP) and 155.7kVA / 124.6kW of Prime Power (PRP). Its 400/230V three-phase output provides the capacity required to support industrial machinery, electrical equipment and commercial power systems.

At the heart of the generator is a Baudouin 6M11G4D0/S six-cylinder diesel engine with a 6,750cc displacement. The engine is turbocharged and aftercooled, with a water-cooled system that helps maintain a controlled operating temperature during extended periods of operation.

An electronic speed governor provides precise control over the engine’s nominal operating speed of 1,500rpm. The electric starting system and 12V electrical circuit support reliable and straightforward operation.

The Baudouin engine is paired with a Mecc Alte ECP34 2L4 C brushless alternator. This single-bearing, four-pole alternator features Class H insulation, IP23 protection and an efficiency rating of 92.9% at full load. It delivers stable three-phase electrical output at 50Hz with a 0.8 power factor.

Fuel consumption is approximately 27.68 litres per hour at 75% prime power and 35.87 litres per hour at 100% prime power. Optional fuel tanks ranging from 350 to 2,200 litres allow the generator’s operating time to be configured around the requirements of the installation.

The standard canopy version features a weather-resistant enclosure manufactured from galvanised sheet metal. High-quality soundproofing materials and a residential silencer help reduce operating noise, while large lateral doors with key-lockable handles provide convenient access for servicing and maintenance.

The standard canopy has a stated sound pressure level of approximately 67dB(A) at seven metres. An Extra Silent canopy is also available for installations where more demanding noise restrictions apply.

Automatic Control and Modular Parallel control-panel options are available. These allow the generator to be configured for automatic mains-failure backup or parallel operation involving multiple generating sets.
