Ford FG9250E Q Series Electric Start Petrol Generator

The Ford FG9250E Q Series Petrol Generator is a powerful, heavy-duty portable generator designed for demanding trade, construction, workshop and backup-power applications. Built to Ford’s Built Tough standards, it features a dependable Euro 5 single-cylinder, 4-stroke OHV air-cooled engine, delivering a maximum output of 6.5kW and a continuous rated output of 6.0kW.

With dual-voltage 110V and 230V output, electric and recoil starting, AVR voltage regulation and a substantial 25-litre fuel tank, the FG9250E Q Series provides a versatile power solution for professional users requiring dependable performance over extended working periods.

Electric & Recoil Start

The FG9250E features a convenient electric key-start system, eliminating the need to rely on a recoil cord during normal operation. Simply turn the key to the START position to start the generator and return it to OFF when finished.

A traditional recoil starter is also included as a backup starting method, while a 12V 9Ah starting battery is supplied with the generator.

Dual Voltage – 110V & 230V

Dual-voltage capability makes the FG9250E particularly versatile for professional applications. The generator provides both 110V and 230V output, allowing it to power a wide range of compatible site equipment, tools and electrical appliances.

The control panel provides 2 x 115V 32A sockets together with 1 x 230V 32A socket, giving users a practical selection of power outlets.

Automatic Voltage Regulation

An integrated Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) helps maintain a consistent voltage output as electrical loads change, providing more stable power delivery to compatible connected equipment.

Digital 3-in-1 Meter

The control panel incorporates a convenient digital 3-in-1 meter displaying essential operating information, including:

Large 25-Litre Fuel Tank

A substantial 25-litre petrol tank provides extended operation between refuelling stops, with a stated run time of up to 14 hours, depending on operating conditions and electrical load.

Wheel Kit for Easier Transportation

Despite its substantial output, the FG9250E can be moved more conveniently thanks to its integrated wheel kit. The generator features matt-black wheels with never-flat PU foam tyres, making manoeuvring the machine around sites, workshops and other working environments considerably easier.

Built-In Protection

A low-oil sensor helps protect the engine by monitoring the oil level, while an integrated circuit breaker provides additional electrical protection during operation.
