Ford FG2500iS 2.2kW Petrol Inverter Generator

The Ford FG2500iS Petrol Inverter Generator is a compact and portable power solution combining dependable Ford Power Equipment engineering with pure sine wave inverter technology, making it suitable for both everyday electrical equipment and sensitive electronic devices.

Powered by a 98cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke OHV air-cooled petrol engine, the FG2500iS produces up to 2.20kW maximum output with a 2.00kW continuous rated output. The engine meets the EURO V emissions standard, providing an efficient and practical source of portable power.

Pure Sine Wave Inverter Power

Unlike a conventional generator, the FG2500iS uses inverter technology to produce pure sine wave power. This provides a clean and stable electrical supply suitable for sensitive electronics such as laptops, televisions, mobile phone chargers and other electronic equipment, as well as lighting, camping equipment and smaller electrical appliances.

Compact & Portable Design

Designed with portability in mind, the FG2500iS features a tough impact-resistant PP and PA enclosure and a compact carrying design. Measuring approximately 540 × 330 × 480mm and weighing 22kg, it can be transported and stored relatively easily when not in use.

This makes it particularly well suited to camping, caravanning, leisure use, mobile work and general portable power applications.

Easy Recoil Starting

The generator uses a simple recoil starting system, removing the need for a starter battery. Simply pull the recoil cord firmly to start the engine.

An integrated ECO mode can help reduce fuel consumption by adjusting engine operation according to electrical demand.

A 4.5-litre fuel tank provides a stated run time of up to approximately 6 hours, while the engine has an oil capacity of 0.35 litres and uses SAE 10W30 4-stroke engine oil.

At a stated 60dB(A) at 7 metres, the FG2500iS also provides a relatively low operating noise level for a portable petrol generator.
