The Excel Power XL8000DFV 7.8kW Open Frame Dual-Fuel Generator is a powerful and versatile portable generator designed for trade, construction, workshop, commercial and backup power applications.

Its dual-fuel capability gives you the flexibility to operate the generator using either petrol or LPG, allowing you to choose the most convenient fuel source for the job.

When running on petrol, the XL8000DFV delivers up to 7,800W starting power and 7,200W continuous rated power. When operating on LPG, it provides up to 7,200W starting power and 6,800W continuous rated power, providing substantial output for compatible tools, equipment, lighting and other electrical loads.

The XL8000DFV features both electric and recoil starting, making starting quick and convenient while retaining the reassurance of a manual recoil starting option. Built-in low-oil level protection helps protect the engine during operation.

Power is supplied through an AVR-controlled alternator with copper windings, designed to provide dependable and stable electrical output.

The control panel includes a 32A 230V blue industrial socket, a 13A 230V 3-pin UK socket and a 12V DC outlet. An integrated information centre displays voltage, frequency and running hours, making it easy to monitor the generator during use.

A generous 25-litre petrol fuel tank provides extended operation between refuelling. The robust steel protection frame is designed to withstand regular trade and site use, while integrated wheels and handles make this substantial generator easier to move and position.

Despite its high output, the XL8000DFV has a rated noise level of approximately 68dBA at 7 metres.
